Assassin's Creed Reveals Surprising Attack on Titan Collaboration for Thanksgiving
In a surprising crossover event that breaks traditional predictions, the game developer has announced an virtual collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual holiday event continues from November 25 through December 22, offering no-cost additional story content for Shadows players.
Strange Mission Disclosed
According to the official statement, "A strange meeting pulls protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a original adventure, where rumors of forbidden rituals and fearsome transformations echo through the obscurity." The plot introduces a "oddly dressed woman named Ada" who charges the duo with traveling into the Crystalline Cavern—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her companion from a clandestine cult.
The mission focuses on "bizarre trials and a fearsome foe" and is accessible to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Locations and Metamorphoses
The teaser features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This important location was formerly where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview ends with a dramatic sequence showing a character, presumably the prisoner, transforming into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who successfully complete the adventure will acquire an unique katana together with multiple items secreted throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also contains in-store Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
