The January transfer window is typically a time of intense rumour and potential major deals. Numerous prominent players are being connected to transfers away from their present teams. This article explores some of the major figures that might be changing clubs in January.

A. Semenyo

Although the Black Stars' inability to reach the Africa Cup of Nations, this has left the player in contention, indications are an important move is imminent. Latest reports point to the Premier League champions are now the frontrunners for his services. This English centre-back has continued to impress for Palace this season a summer transfer to Liverpool collapsing. Villa were once mentioned as a possible suitor, but that option currently seems unlikely. Instead, interest from Saudi Arabia and Turkey are reportedly expressing interest in the 33-year-old.

This prolific English striker has kept scoring regularly in the Middle East. Coming back to the Premier League could enhance his fading chances of making the England World Cup.
